For more than 100 years, the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) has served the residents of the City with professionalism, dependability, and integrity. In addition to the full-service headquarters building, the City is represented by nine area commands divided into 19 service areas, policing 123 neighborhoods. The Department provides patrol, traffic, investigative, records, permits and licensing, laboratory, and support services.
